The website for the Rev. Marc D. Smith, Ph.D. maintains user information as confidential. The only information collected about individuals who visit this website is initiated by the user’s electronic request for information and is limited to the user’s name, email address, telephone number, organization, and specific inquiry. This information is used for responding to users’ requests and providing periodic electronic updates about the Rev. Dr. Smith’s work and new initiatives.  The opportunity to “opt-out” of such updates is available to all users. 

Individual contact information is kept internally in a secure encrypted format and, unless required by law, is never shared with or available to third parties.  Analysis of this information is routinely conducted, aggregated, and used internally to inform decisions regarding future work and offerings.  Aggregated, non-identifiable information and analyses may be used in soliciting support from third parties for current or future work and offerings.  Users have a right to any information they have shared and can request access to it at cotterboatworks@aol.com.
